What is SMEC and how does it work?

Smart Egg Counter (SMEC) is an innovative, portable and affordable smart farm productivity device that automatically counts eggs in real-time as they are laid on your farm, giving you full visibility and control over your egg production. It is solar powered and no external power source is required, making it super convenient for farms with electricity shortages.

Eggs are instantly detected by highly reliable and accurate Sensing Bars installed beneath the feeding trough. At the end of the business day, in addition to several other features, the exact count of eggs for the day is reported to the authorized farm manager or owner. Thereafter, the count automatically resets to begin counting at zero for the next day.

Can it help reduce egg theft and losses?

Is your device suitable for small poultry farms?

Do I need to get new cages?

No. SMEC is designed to fit into any existing A-Type or H-Type Battery Cage. As long as your current Battery Cages are functional SMEC can be installed on your poultry farm.

Do I need additional special hardware to use?

No. Once purchased, our smart egg counting device, SMEC comes complete with all the required hardware for a smooth and fully functional setup.

How long does it take to get started after sign up?

Very quickly. Once you sign up, onboarding is straightforward, and most users are fully set up and operational within a short time.
